Purpose / role: This is the second written component (Component 02) of the OCR A Level Computer Science (specification H446), assessing students’ computational thinking, problem-solving, algorithm design and programming knowledge/skills.
Format: A 2 hours 30 minutes written paper. Calculators are not allowed.
Total marks: 140 marks.
Weighting: This paper contributes 40% of the total A-Level grade (when combined with Paper 1 and the Programming Project).
